A thistle

There is a trail called the Bay Ridge trail. I walked part of it the other day. It took me forever to find the trailhead because it was in an urban area right behind a day care center. The hike was quite unprotected from the sun and bare of too many things but a good view of the bay on one side of the ridge and Vallejo on the other. Then I had to walk through town a little to get to Blue springs park where I had lunch and then walked back. I found these huge thistles on the trail as I was hiking and thought I would share one with you
